Personal Reading Consultation
Spend sixty minutes with one of our booksellers in a structured conversation about your reading history, preferences, and goals. We'll ask about books you've loved, books that disappointed you, and what you're hoping to get from reading right now.
You'll leave with a customized reading list of ten to fifteen recommendations, organized by priority, plus physical copies of the first three books we think you should start with.
CAD 47.50 per session
Sessions can be conducted in-store or via video call. Follow-up consultations available at reduced rate for existing clients.
Curated Book Club Membership
Join a reading community that meets monthly to discuss books selected for their capacity to generate meaningful conversation. We choose titles that work across different reading preferences—books that literary readers and casual readers can both engage with productively.
Membership includes the featured book delivered to your address two weeks before each meeting, plus access to our private discussion lounge where members can continue conversations between meetings.
CAD 68.00 per month
Meetings held first Thursday of each month at 7 PM. Virtual attendance option available. Minimum three-month commitment required.
Rare & Out-of-Print Book Sourcing
Looking for a specific edition or a book that disappeared from publication? We maintain relationships with estate sale specialists, private collectors, and international rare book dealers.
Provide us with as much information as you have—title, author, approximate publication date, any distinguishing features—and we'll conduct a systematic search across our network. Typical search duration ranges from two weeks to three months depending on the rarity and specificity of your request.
CAD 95.00 research fee plus actual book cost
Research fee is non-refundable but applies toward purchase if we successfully locate the book. International shipping additional.
Literary Event Hosting
We host author readings, book launches, and literary discussions in our event space. If you're an author with a new release or an organization planning a book-related event, we can provide venue, promotional support, and audience.
Our space accommodates up to forty-five people. We handle event setup, book sales, and post-event reception. You focus on the content.
CAD 225.00 base fee plus revenue share on book sales
Weekday evening and weekend afternoon slots available. Booking requires minimum six weeks advance notice.
Custom Book Orders
Need a book we don't currently stock? We can order virtually any in-print title from our distributor network, typically arriving within seven to ten business days.
This service is particularly useful for academic texts, specialized non-fiction, or recent releases from small presses that we haven't yet added to our regular inventory.
CAD 12.75 ordering fee plus book retail price
Payment required at time of order. We'll notify you when the book arrives. Holds maintained for two weeks.
Gift Wrapping & Local Delivery
Purchase books as gifts and we'll wrap them in quality paper with a handwritten card containing your message. For recipients within the city, we offer same-day or next-day delivery.
This service is especially popular during holidays and for corporate gifts. We can coordinate bulk orders for organizations looking to give books as employee or client gifts.
CAD 18.50 per package including wrapping and delivery
Delivery available within city limits. Orders received before 2 PM eligible for same-day delivery. Bulk rates available for orders over ten books.
